Growing a family and a farm from her market!
What began as a roadside 'stand' with a door propped up on 2 blocks holding a bushel basket filled with sweet corn during the summer months has evolved into a farm market, bakery, garden center, catering business sitting in the middle of our family's 300 cow dairy farm.
Theresa joined the Freund family in 1979 as a farmhand, took on the last name Freund in 1982 when she married the youngest son Matthew and chose marketing over milking as she grew her family from 2 to 4 to 6. In 1995, Theresa moved her business operations from the front yard to the backyard where she now fills a 2 story post and beam red barn stocked with seasonal and local products.
